I have found that you can only really get to know people with time and care. It is easy to love when you feel love, but when the living gets hard and severely challenged, you get to see who you really are, and relationally, who you are together.

I have had the honor and pleasure of connecting with Kendra relatively regularly for almost a year now on weekly check-in calls for a mutually welcomed “life support”. We have weathered many a storm together, as well as celebrated many victories. Needless to say, we have gotten to know each authentically well – hallelujah.
